Starting July 11th, there will be 70 antique dealers at
the Grand Jardin in Fayence. There will be statues from the
Han Dynasty, African art, ceramics, terracotta and glass work
and high quality fruitwood furniture. Take the A8 motorway to
exit 39 "Les Adrets" to Fayence. The fair runs through
July 22nd.

In Vence, the Château Saint-Martin pay tribute to the
Knights Templars with an exhibition recounting the history of
this medieval Christian military order. The Château Saint-Martin
is located in Vence on Avenue des Templiers. It's open every
day and admission is free. The exhibition runs through December
15th.

Loubet there is a tribute to the three star Michelin chef Bernard

Les Glaces Polaires

At the Monaco Oceanographic Museum there is an exhibition
entitled "The Polar Icecaps for Future Generations".
The show is dedicated to the Arctic and Antarctic regions and
highlights the importance of research in the roles of the Poles
in determining the future of the planet. Hours are 10 to 6 daily.

In Sanremo you can visit Villa Nobel
a Moorish-style building
that was the home of the famous Swedish scientist Alfred Nobel
from 1890 to 1896. It was there that he decided to establish
the famous "Nobel Prizes". Nowadays the villa houses
a permanent museum of Nobel memorabilia as well as a gallery
of Nobel Prize winners. The exterior of the villa is designed
to resemble a woven tapestry and it has only recently been beautifully
and painstakingly restored. Guests are also invited to stroll
the villa's well-manicured grounds that contain many exotic
plants. The villa is open Tuesday through Sunday and entry is

On Saturday mornings in Cannes there is an introduction to athletics
for children aged 6 to 8, from 10:30 to 11:30, then in the afternoon
you can experience the Brazilian art of Capoeira (kapo wera),

Every Saturday guided tours of Old Nice depart from the Nice Tourist
office at 9:30. Learn interesting things about Old Nice including
its history, its baroque churches, the markets and galleries. Reservations

Every Friday, there are guided tours of the town of Villefranche-sur-Mer
conducted in English, Italian, German and French. Tours leave the
Tourist Office located in the Jardin Francois Binon at 10:00. The

International Organ Festival

Third edition of the Monaco International Organ Festival continues
with concerts at 5:00 every Sunday in the Cathédrale de Monaco.
The theme for this year's festival commemorates the 100th anniversary
of the birth of composer Olivier Messiaen. The featured organist
this Sunday will be Lionel Rogg from Switzerland. The festival runs
through September 7th and entry is free.

Les Moments Musicaux de la Citadelle

In Villefranche-sur-Mer, Thursday evenings, there is a series of
classical music concerts featuring prize winners from regional conservatories
and music schools. Concerts will be at 9PM at the Citadelle through

Music at the Heart of Antibes

The
20th edition of Music at the Heart of Antibes (Musiques au Coeur),
an opera festival at the Villa Eilenroc on the Cap d'Antibes. Directed
by Eve Ruggieri the festival also includes Verdi's Rigoletti with
the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra on July 5th and 7th. For full details

Renoir et les Familiers de Collettes

There is an exhibition of archives and photographs, at the Château
Musée Grimaldi, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Renoir's
arrival in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Also, at the Renoir Museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer,
paintings, drawings and other objects will be on display. Both museums
are open from 10:00-12:00 and 2:00-5:00 daily except Tuesdays. Entry
fee is €3, but there is free entry on the first Sunday of each
month at both. The exhibits run through September 8th.

The Children's Corner at Holy Trinity Church in Nice meets each
Sunday in the church hall at 10:50 until about 11:40 when the children
are accompanied to the church to join their parents. All children
are welcome but the activities -- including a story, play-acting,
hand-crafts and coloring. are especially suited for those between
